Hi! I'm Eric, a video editor based in Los Angeles.
I cut in Premiere and I've been doing it for eight years. Right now I edit regional TV commercials for small businesses across 60+ markets for Spectrum Reach. I also cut political ads for Democratic candidates across the country, including Tom Perriello, Don Coover and Sara Agerton.
Before that I spent almost four years as a video editor at Privcap. I started in quality control and moved up. I edited 100+ projects there, from 7+ hour AGM videos to short corporate pieces, for clients like Bain Capital, KKR and Apollo. When a project got stuck, it usually got handed to me.
I got my start as an assistant editor at Bonch Post, working on music and commercial projects for Justin Bieber, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, Urban Decay and Apple. That's also where I picked up After Effects cleanup work like screen replacements, light roto and paintouts.
Versioning, full-res relinks, color prep and delivery are all part of how I work.
